About Me

I am a Pittsburgh native. I became a vegetarian in 1998, and began cooking seriously when I moved to Japan in 2007. I share my cooking with others whenever I can – I teach my students Japanese recipes, I cook for friends and family, and recently I competed in the Pittsburgh Dumpling Experiment. I’m hoping I can help you find innovative vegetarian and vegan recipes in order to broaden your cooking (or eating!) repertoire.
